Nurlanthi: Weaving the magic of art and fashion.

IMAGE YETI

Nurlanthi is an extraordinary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural fashion performance. Based on the Kaurna word loosely translating to mean ‘the twisting of fibres,’ Nurlanthi wove its magic drawing on talent from across Australia. Produced and presented by Tandanya and the Spirit Festival in late 2016 in conjunction with the Adelaide Fashion Festival, it sparked a fashion movement—creatively led by artist and founder of First Nations Fashion & Design, Grace Lillian Lee. We produced, styled, branded and packaged the experience. Watch the official video.
