Wine well-made, stories well-told
Terrone
Terrone Wines has an ambitious plan: to collaborate with ethical winemakers from well-known wine regions and craft outstanding wines with distinctive stories. The first release, the 2022 MonteCab, truly captures the spirit of the land and the resilience of southern Italy.
We created a label that speaks to tradition and toil. At its centre is a 19th-century engraving of a man pausing, spade in hand – a quiet tribute to the patience and labour behind every harvest. It mirrors the philosophy of winemaker Fabiano Minchella, whose Southern Italian heritage and deep respect for the land shape every part of the process.
Terrone MonteCab celebrates this connection to the land and embraces the Southern Italian slow food philosophy. It is inspired by vintners like Fabiano, who craft climate-friendly wines with patience, passion, and hard work, allowing the grapes to reach their fullest potential.
The inaugural 2022 vintage is a half blend of Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in McLaren Vale and made with passion by Fabiano. Expect aromas of mulberry and blackberry with just a hint of cedar and spice, leading to a rich palate filled with vibrant berries and refreshing acidity.
